Finally, we’ll talk to Dr. Chris Bird, Scott Crawford, Tia Brown, Roxie Sylva, about a Nature Conservancy initiative called the `Opihi Partnership.

Then Cindy Matsuki from HTDC returns to tell us about the next Wetware Wednesday, and Ben Nelson joins us by phone to to tell us about the AT&T Hackathon. Finally, we’ll explore the Northwest Hawaiian Islands in the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument with Daniel Wagner and Jonathan Tree, two of the researchers who will travel on the NOAA vessel Okeanos Explorer.

Brad Romine is here to tell us about a workshop on “Sea Level Rise, Vulnerability and Adaptation.” Then Sam Gon III joins us to tell us about a Nature Conservancy talk on “Water and the Watershed.” Finally, we’ll look into the VEQ IQ program, which introduces elementary and middle school teams to robotics. We’ll hear about the program from the student, teacher, and parent perspective.
